Recognized by Experts, Trusted by Families
A Stanford study found that students at NHA partner schools gain nearly three and a half more months of learning each year compared to their peers in traditional public schools.
NHA schools also earned the “Gap Buster” designation for strong progress in closing learning gaps for students from low-income families and minority backgrounds.
These results reflect our commitment to academic excellence and strong support for every student.

Advanced Learning at NHA
Advanced learners thrive in our schools because we provide meaningful academic challenges from the start. Through the EXCEL-ERATE program in grades K–8, students participate in accelerated learning and deeper thinking activities that strengthen their confidence and sense of responsibility. Middle school students can even earn high school credit. In high school, they can continue to push themselves through Advanced Placement (AP) courses, which offer rigorous college-level work and the chance to earn college credit. Together, these programs encourage students to work hard, think critically, and take ownership of their learning.
Top Performing Schools, Year After Year
National Heritage Academies partners with more than 100 tuition-free public charter schools across nine states, serving over 65,000 student in grades K–12.

Several NHA partner schools have earned the National Blue Ribbon School award. This is one of the highest honors a public school can receive.
The U.S. Department of Education gives this award to schools with strong academic results or clear growth in student learning.
This recognition shows that students are meeting high standards and making real progress. It reflects strong teaching, high expectations, and partnership with families.
