What Makes NHA Different?

The Service Center
What Makes NHA Different?

We refer to our back office support (human resources, technology, accounting, etc.) as the Service Center. At the Service Center, we manage business operations so school leadership and teachers can focus on students.

The Dean Model
What Makes NHA Different?

In the traditional school leadership model, a school principal manages as many as 30 to 40 direct reports. At NHA, a team of four administrators leads each school. This approach ensures each student and staff member receive the specialized attention needed for success. The Dean Model partners teachers with a dean who has 9 to 12 direct reports and can spend more time observing lessons, brainstorming solutions, and implementing new strategies to solve problems. When a collaborative relationship develops, deans can use their expertise to help teachers be their best. The quality instructional practices that result help students excel.

Moral Focus
What Makes NHA Different?

NHA students study nine Moral Focus virtues throughout each school year. We believe learning about these virtues is just as important as anything else our students will learn. Knowing how to do the right thing and treating others with respect and kindness will impact every aspect of their lives. In the classroom, virtues help our students build positive relationships with their teachers and with other students. The NHA Service Center highlights these each month in partnership with our schools.
