Exciting Campus and Building Updates at Phoenix Academy

Construction continues to progress on schedule across all three Phoenix campuses. Crews are currently installing classroom cabinetry, painting interiors, completing finishes, and installing kitchen equipment in preparation for onsite meal service later this fall. Floor polishing and waxing will begin next week, with final inspections scheduled for August. We're excited to continue sharing updates as the campus comes together for the start of the school year!

With the school year complete, construction activity has shifted into high gear across campus. Thanks to the tremendous efforts of Phoenix Academy teachers and staff, the upper and lower buildings were successfully cleared of all classroom materials during the final days of school, allowing construction crews to begin work immediately.
 
Crews are now actively removing walls and preparing interior spaces for renovation as work continues to transform the buildings into updated learning environments for students. Daily progress is becoming more visible as construction teams move through the next phase of the project.
 
The project remains on schedule, and it has been exciting to see the steady progress taking place each day. We look forward to sharing additional updates as construction continues throughout the summer.

The addition to the back of the high school is now fully enclosed and protected from the elements. Crews have completed framing interior walls, and work will now shift to the installation of ductwork, electrical wiring, and plumbing. Grass on the new sports and practice fields is coming in nicely, supported by the new irrigation system and plans for the new gymnasium are being reviewed by the building department. Construction continues to be on schedule.

Construction continues to be on schedule at the high school building. Crews are busy working to install roof joists, and they have started to close off the addition. Work inside will get busier once the area is protected from the elements.

Work is progressing nicely at the high school building. The concrete slab has been poured, and vertical construction has begun with the framing of the building structure. The creation of a new, permanent retention pond is nearly complete on the west corner of the campus, and the entire project continues to be on schedule.

Wintry weather has created some challenges for construction work at our high school, but additional crews have been added to prepare the underground plumbing. This will enable the concrete slab to be poured by the end of the month. The concrete foundation perimeter, seen in these drone photos, is already in place, and the site has been compacted. While the snow and ice have been challenging for crews, construction is still on schedule.

Work at the high school is progressing nicely and crews have finished preconstruction work to the back of the building. Utility underground pipework continues which will be followed by foundation and concrete slab work. Mild weather has been helpful to the construction schedule!
