August is National Inventors Month a perfect time to celebrate the curious minds who help shape our world with creative, new ideas. At National Heritage Academies (NHA®), we believe every child has the power to innovate. That’s why we encourage curiosity in our classrooms all year long.
From science projects to music composition apps, learning happens when students explore, create, and ask “what if?”
You’ve probably heard of inventors that changed the world like Thomas Edison with the lightbulb or the Wright brothers with the airplane. But did you know there are famous inventors alive today still making a big difference?
Here are a few modern inventors to inspire your young learner:
