Learning is a lifelong process that extends outside normal classwork. At PrepNet Virtual Academy, students can explore their interests, learn new skills, and make new friends through a variety of extracurricular activities. Learn more about what we offer below.
Technology
We offer one-to-one technology, with each student receiving their own Chromebook.
Specials
Along with academics, our scholars will be exposed to the arts and more. We offer specials like music, PE, technology, and visual arts.
Electives
Our 7th-12th grade scholars will be able to choose elective classes. We offer 2D/3D art, American Sign Language, art, computer science, foundational art, French, health, media design, PE, psychology, skills workshop, Spanish, technology, and web design. Not all electives are available for all grades.
College Prep
PrepNet Virtual Academy offers college prep opportunites to scholars. These opportunities include: college campus tours, college counseling, and an Early College Program in partnership with Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) and Davenport University (DU).

Extracurricular Activities
Extracurricular activities at PrepNet Virtual Academy are student-chosen and led clubs that must have a staff sponsor to oversee and provide guidance as needed. The frequency of club meet up is determined by the club members.
