Oakside Scholars hosted the fourth annual Grandparents Day, welcoming nearly 200 family members into the school.
The day started with the special guests being greeted by Oakside's student safety patrol team and continued with students from first, third, and sixth-grade reading poems.
Each special guest then had a chance to visit their student's classroom and take part in an activity. The day concluded with an inspirational video made by the technology class and a chance for grandparents to share their stories about positive experiences in grandparenting.
