Lansing Charter Academy students had the chance to participate in more than 20 hands-on science projects at the school’s annual Science Experience. From forensics, to dissecting animals, K9 dogs, and robots.
LCA Dean and Science Experience Coordinator Cassandra Trawitz was once again thrilled that so many students and parents could enjoy this fun night.
"The Science Experience is an opportunity for families in our school community to experience biology, geology, chemistry, physics, technology, engineering, and robotics all in one night," said Trawitz. "Scientists and engineers throughout the state set up in classrooms to show off their demonstrations and processes to kids of all ages. Not only are students able to see science in action, they are able to be interact with science personally. Our presenters also discuss their field of work, giving students of all backgrounds the opportunity to understand the types of jobs available if interested in science."
