NHA Service Center Interview FAQ

Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the NHA® Service Center brings together teams across a variety of departments to support our schools. Explore answers to common questions about interviewing for a Service Center position, what to expect, and how you can prepare.

Dress to impress! Business professional attire is recommended.

We have designated visitor parking near the main entrance to the building.

You will enter through our main entrance on the south side of the building. This entrance is marked with a blue-striped overhang.

Bring a notepad and pen to take notes, as well as extra copies of your resume.

The number of interviews will depend on the position. However, most positions typically require two to three interviews.

The interview will include a mix of behavioral and situational questions, with a focus on the SAR Method (Situation, Action, Result). This approach allows you to share specific examples of your experiences, highlighting how you handled various situations and the outcomes of your actions. Learn more about the SAR Method here.
