What EXCEL-ERATE Looks Like
EXCEL-ERATE gives qualifying K–8 students opportunities for greater academic challenge in English language arts (ELA) and math. Students may work above grade level, explore concepts in greater depth, and build the skills and confidence to take on more challenging work.
Elementary School
Students who are ready for more can build on grade-level learning with greater challenges in ELA and math.
Middle School
Students continue to take on advanced work in ELA and math, with opportunities at some schools to earn high school credit before ninth grade.
