Name: Sadie Schramm
NHA School Attended: Greensboro Academy, Class of 2021
College Attended: North Carolina Wesleyan University
Tell us about your journey since you graduated from NHA: I graduated from Greensboro Academy in 2021. I attended Southwest Guilford High School where I played varsity volleyball and graduated Magna Cum Laude. I now currently attend North Carolina Wesleyan University where I play volleyball and am majoring in Biomedical Science with a double concentration in Pre-med and Pre-vet.
Which Moral Focus virtue has best shaped your life and why? Perseverance. This virtue has showed me to never give up. Whether it be taking challenging courses in high school and college or continuing to play volleyball even when it gets hard. Some days are more difficult than others, but I know that if I don't give up all of the hard days will be worthwhile.
How did your NHA schools help prepare you for your academic and life experiences? Greensboro Academy gave me a great foundation of education before continuing my academic career in high school and college. Because of my education at Greensboro Academy, I took higher level (honors and AP) classes all throughout high school and have been awarded an academic scholarship in college.
