This year at South Pointe Charter Academy the middle school students are taking the lead on teaching Moral Focus virtues to the school.
Math students have been creating posters and are having conversations about wisdom. Their posters will be displayed at the next Moral Focus assembly.
“Each month the students sign up with me to lead an assembly,” said Sonya Williams, middle school dean at South Pointe.
This year, the students have presented poems, songs, skits, and personal thoughts about the current Moral Focus virtue.
“This has been very popular in our middle school and the students and teachers are enjoying it,” said Williams.
