Emerson Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in Dayton serving students in grades K-8. We shape instruction to build on the strengths and abilities of each student and integrate Moral Focus™ lessons into every school day. As a result, our students are well-prepared from kindergarten through eighth grade. A Stanford University study found National Heritage Academies partner-school students gained the equivalent of 3.5 months of additional learning each year compared to peers.

Get ready for middle school at Emerson Academy! Our two-day Middle School Camp is designed to help incoming students build confidence, make new friends, and prepare for a successful transition into this exciting new chapter. Throughout the camp, students will participate in interactive activities, team-building challenges, and engaging workshops that introduce middle school expectations, routines, and opportunities. Campers will have the chance to connect with future classmates, meet school staff, and gain valuable insights that will help them feel comfortable and prepared for the upcoming school year. This fun and informative experience is the perfect way to start the journey to middle school. We look forward to welcoming our future Eagles and helping them get ready for a great year ahead!

Welcome to kindergarten at Emerson Academy! We invite your child to join us for our two-day KinderCamp on July 20 and July 21, designed to help incoming kindergarten students become comfortable and excited about starting school. During KinderCamp, students will participate in fun, interactive activities, explore their new classrooms, meet teachers and staff, make new friends, and learn about daily kindergarten routines. This engaging experience helps build confidence, ease first-day jitters, and create a positive foundation for a successful school year. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to become familiar with Emerson Academy before the first day of school and begin building connections with future classmates.
