Winterfield Venture Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in Toledo serving students in grades K-8. We shape instruction to build on the strengths and abilities of each student and integrate Moral Focus™ lessons into every school day. As a result, our students are well-prepared from kindergarten through eighth grade. A Stanford University study found National Heritage Academies partner-school students gained the equivalent of 3.5 months of additional learning each year compared to peers.

In honor of Reading Month, join us for our Booktopia Bash, a fun and family-friendly celebration of reading for all current families, prospective families, and incoming 2026–2027 families! Scholastic Book Fair (3:45–5:00 PM): Browse and shop a great selection of books for all ages the entire time. Kindergarten Round-Up Info Session (4:00–4:30 PM) : Prospective and incoming Kindergarten families are invited to learn about our Kindergarten program during this special session and receive a Kindergarten Readiness Bag. Welcome Party for 2026–2027 Families (3:45–5:00 PM): Families joining us for the 2026–2027 school year may visit our paperwork room at any time during the event to complete enrollment documents and meet our team. Reading Activities, Games & Book Raffles: Current families are invited to participate in hands-on literacy games and fun activities with chances to win special prizes. We look forward to celebrating reading and welcoming new families into our community!
