Dress Code

A flexible and cost effective dress code has been established at our school to encourage academic success while reducing distractions and competition. Implementing a simple, flexible, cost effective dress code promotes student learning and increased academic instruction time.

Please refer to the Student Handbook for the complete dress code policy.

All Students

  • Sagging pants and/or "skinny" fit pants are not permitted.
  • Shirts must be tucked in at all times.
  • All students must wear solid black belts with standard buckle.
  • Students are permitted to wear solid navy vests and cardigan sweaters.
  • Pullovers and hoodies are not permitted.
  • Students must wear solid black or solid brown casual, dress, or solid black solid brown athletic shoes.
  • High tops, white, or colored soles and shoes with colored laces or designs are not permitted.
  • Boots are permitted only as outerwear. Uniform shoes must be worn in the classroom.
  • Students must wear solid navy, khaki, black, or white socks.
  • Girls are permitted to wear white, tan, black or navy tights.
  • Du-rags, scarfs and hats of any kind may not be worn inside the building.
  • Bodily/facial piercings are not permitted.
  • Boys are not permitted to wear earrings even if covered with a Band-Aid.
  • Girls are permitted to wear stud earrings only.
  • Other than stud earrings for girls, no jewelry is permitted to be worn.
  • Accessories that do not coordinate with the school uniform (e.g., glowing, glittering, etc.) are prohibited.
  • Hairstyles must be conservative and may not be outlandish.
  • Headbands can be worn in solid colors of black, navy blue, or white.
  • Wearing, carrying, and displaying gang paraphernalia, names, signs, or symbols of gang membership is prohibited.

  • Students must wear solid light blue polo shirts (long-sleeved or short-sleeved).
  • Students must wear cotton dress navy blue slacks or knee-length shorts.
  • Solid black dress belts must be worn at all times.
  • Girls are allowed to wear knee-length skirts, skorts, or jumpers. (Capris are not permitted.)
  • Painter and cargo pants are not permitted.

  • Students must wear solid light blue button-down collared shirts.
  • Students must wear a school approved tie. Boys will wear a knotted-neck tie. Girls will wear a cross neck tie.
  • Boys must wear cotton dress khaki slacks or knee-length shorts.
  • Girls are permitted to wear knee-length skirts, skorts, or jumpers. (Capris are not permitted.)
  • Painter and cargo pants are not permitted.
  • Middle school boys and girls are required to wear a solid navy blue blazer as part of their uniform.

Hats & Accessories

Colors

Conservative colored socks or tights must be worn at all times.

A reasonable number of modest earrings that are shorter than 1 inch longs are permitted.

Not Allowed

Hats and head scarves may not be worn in the building.
Belts are not allowed to be decorative.
Body piercing ornaments are not permitted.

Clothing must fit the individual in a modest fashion i.e. No tight fitting pants, shirts, low cut shirts, etc.

Clothing may not be ripped or torn. Bare midriffs are not permitted.
Tattoos are not permitted.
Wearing, carrying, and displaying gang paraphernalia, names, signs, or symbols of gang membership are prohibited.
