The Warrendale Charter Academy Communications Club helped produce a radio show at Channel 955, described as Detroit's #1 hit music station.
The students were invited by DJ Shannon Murphy who has worked with the school on multiple community outreach projects.
After learning about the process of producing a morning show and being able to speak on-air, the students enjoyed lunch together at the Cheesecake Factory.
"It was just a fun day for the club," said Juanamia Kelley, a parapro at Warrendale who helped organize the event.
