Summerfield Charter Academy was named a Top Ten Charter Elementary and Middle School in North Carolina by Niche, an organization that specializes in data and rankings. Summerfield's Elementary and Middle Schools were ranked first among charter schools in the Greensboro area and were given an overall grade of A+.

NHA Safety Award
Summerfield Charter Academy received the NHA Safety Award for the 2022-23 school year for achieving the highest ratings for safety on both the parent and staff surveys. We completed all required safety drills, and participated in the 2022-23 NHA Safety Week, a week set aside to educate staff and students on safety at school.
Summerfield Receives Two Eagle Awards
National Heritage Academies awarded Summerfield Charter Academy with both the Student Enrollment and Parent Satisfaction Eagle Awards for the 2022-23 school year. We were recognized for student enrollment because of our strong enrollment numbers. Students love attending our school! NHA recognized us for parent satisfaction because at least 90% of parents stated they were satisfied on the spring 2023 parent survey.
NHA Shines: Stanford's CREDO Study Shows Our Students Surpass Their Peers by 3.5 Months Each Year
A recent Stanford study shows NHA partner-school students continue to outperform their traditional public school peers. They do so by gaining nearly three-and-a-half months of additional learning.
