Summerfield Charter Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in North Carolina serving students in grades K-8. We shape instruction to build on the strengths and abilities of each student and integrate Moral Focus™ lessons into every school day. As a result, our students are well-prepared from kindergarten through eighth grade. A Stanford University study found National Heritage Academies partner-school students gained the equivalent of 3.5 months of additional learning each year compared to peers.

Give your child the advantage of a full K–12 education at Summerfield Charter Academy. From the very first day of kindergarten through high school, students benefit from a consistent, high-quality learning experience focused on academic growth and character development across our two side by side campuses.
Summerfield will operate grades K–9 in the Fall of 2027, adding one grade per year through grade 12. As we expand our high school program, students will have new opportunities to challenge themselves and prepare for the future through a strong academic foundation and growing course offerings.
