Behind the Program
College Counseling at NHA
Koree Woodward, Director of High Schools at NHA, explains how our college and career counselors work one-on-one with students and families through four years of planning, applications, financial aid, and graduation requirements.
Academic Planning
Tools and Resources for Your Teen's Plan
From course selection to transcripts, here's what students and families need to stay on track through high school.
Scheduling
Choosing the right courses each year keeps your teen on track for graduation and strengthens their college applications. Our counselors help students build a plan and stay organized along the way. Course scheduling and registration happen school-wide twice each academic year.
Curriculum
Summerfield Charter follows a rigorous, college-prep curriculum designed to prepare every graduate for what comes next. Students interested in online courses should see the school registrar, and Michigan's online course catalog lists what's available.
Campus Visits
Learning about colleges helps students explore their interests and plan for the future. As our high school program continues to grow, students will have opportunities to visit college campuses and connect with college representatives to learn more about their options after graduation.
