Peak Charter Academy was ranked third on the Best Charter Middle Schools in North Carolina list, according to U.S. News & World Report in its 2025 school rankings. The school’s elementary school program also ranked seventh on the Best Charter Elementary Schools in North Carolina list.
The school, which has outperformed the local district since it opened in 2017, was praised for its math and reading performance at all levels. Math and reading performance levels in elementary and middle school were rated well above expectations.
This marks the fourth year of the U.S. News & World Report ranking elementary and middle schools. The organization has provided go-to resources for parents and students at the high school and college levels for years.
