Milwaukee Scholars Earns High Marks on State Testing

Milwaukee Scholars Charter School students earned 81 out of 100 points on the state’s report card for the 2016-17 school year. A 26.5 point increase from the year prior. The score earned Milwaukee Scholars the “Exceeds Expectations” accountability rating; the second highest a school can earn.

Students made significant gains in English language arts student proficiency with an 11 percent increase, nine percent increase in both math and science, and 12 percent in social studies.

“I am incredibly proud of our scholars and their hard work on the state tests,” said Principal Nikole Laskov. “These scores reflect a true team effort and am I grateful for our outstanding team of educators who are committed to the scholars we serve each day."
