Holly Park Academy Hosts KinderCamp

Holly Park Academy welcomed young students to the school’s annual KinderCamp on Aug. 14-16. The soon-to-be kindergarten students got the chance to practice classroom routines, participate in lessons, play games, and get comfortable before the first day of school.

“KinderCamp is a great experience for our youngest scholars. It gives scholars and parents a chance to learn the routine of kindergarten, get comfortable in the classroom, meet teachers, and have a little fun at the same time. I enjoyed seeing all the faces fill our kindergarten classrooms this week.”

During the week students had a chance to play games and work on art projects. They also got a visit from some friendly animals from Potter Park Zoo and Big Lug, the Lansing Lugnuts mascot.

Holly Park Academy will officially welcome back students on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
