School Meals

Below is our approved meal program for the 2023-24 school year. A good meal is key to providing the energy for students to do their best. Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School is committed to ensuring students maintain a nutritious diet. Healthy, balanced meals are available at no cost to all students every full day of school with our participation in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP).

National School Breakfast Week 2024 is March 4-8.

National School Breakfast Week is March 4-8

National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) celebrates the importance of a healthy breakfast at school for students' success. It happens in the first week of March and recognizes the National School Breakfast Program for helping kids start their day well. To celebrate NSBW Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School will be handing out free color changing spoons with your breakfast meal. Check out our breakfast menu below, or contact the school office for more information on our breakfast program.

Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School uses SLA Management to provide meals to our students. SLA Management is a full-service food management company feeding K-12 students nationwide with a focus on menu quality. 


Household Information Survey / Education Benefits

If your child is enrolled this year, please download and complete the Household Information Survey. This helps to support our supplemental programs. The completed survey can be brought to the school office, or uploaded via the Submit Paperwork Online link in your Parent Portal account.
