National Heritage Academies (NHA) remains committed to ensuring students maintain a healthy and nutritious diet, no matter what learning scenario our schools are in. A good meal is key to providing the energy your child needs to do their best, and enrolled students are offered a nutritious breakfast and lunch at no cost through the Community Eligibility Program (CEP).USDA Non-Discrimination Statement
U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently announced that they will continue serving meals to children at no cost, through December 31, 2020. This will ensure, no matter what the situation is, children have access to nutritious food as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Student households may pick up frozen lunch meals (including reheating instructions) and breakfast from our school Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., while supplies last.
- Please know, all NHA schools tailor their meal distribution schedule and specifics to best fit the needs of their school community. Please contact your schools’ office for details.
- We are able to offer up to five days of meals (5 breakfast and 5 lunches), for every enrolled student and parents will only need to come to the school to pick up meals on one of the designated pickup days.
Parents will be allowed to pick up items and take them home for student consumption. Students do not need to be present in order for parents to receive their child's meals. For safety reasons, families are not allowed to enter the building during meal pickup.
