Achieve Charter Academy No. 1 in Best Charter Middle Schools in Michigan Rankings

Achieve Charter Academy is ranked number one by U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 Top 10 Best Charter Middle Schools in Michigan.

The report noted the middle school scored “well above expectations” in both reading and math performance, with 75 percent of students scoring at or above the proficient level for reading and 73 percent scoring at or above the proficient level for math.

“We’re excited to see recognition for the hard work our students, teachers, and staff have put in to accomplish these high marks,” NHA President and CEO Brian Britton said. “All of our schools are focused on teaching children to be their best, and we appreciate the trust their parents have in us to accomplish that task.”

This marks the inaugural “Best” middle and elementary school lists created by U.S. News & World Report, while their high school and college-focused lists have been go-to resources for parents and students for years.

Rankings were determined by analyzing math and reading proficiency, state assessments and how schools performed compared to expectations. State assessments from the 2018-19 school year were used to limit the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on test results.
