Food Services During School Closure

Food distribution at Windemere Park Charter Academy will unfortunately be suspended, effective March 30. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please know, we are committed to providing alternatives to ensure students maintain a healthy and nutritious diet, even when they are away from our building.

Families may participate in food distribution at the following locations:

  • J.W. Sexton High School, 102 S McPherson Ave, Lansing, MI 48915, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, while supplies last.
  • St. Vincent Catholic Charities, 2800 W Willow St, Lansing, MI 48917, Monday through Friday, while supplies last. Breakfast is served 8 - 9 a.m., and lunch from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. 
We also encourage families to visit the Michigan Department of Education’s Site Locator for regional food banks that distribute food in your local county.
