Welcome to Kindergarten at Wake Forest Charter Academy. Take the next step in your child’s educational journey by joining us for our “Oh, the Places You’ll Grow” event. This engaging experience is designed to introduce your child to our dedicated teaching staff while providing opportunities to participate in age-appropriate activities that support kindergarten readiness.Each spring, we host “Grow With Us” events for families. These gatherings provide valuable information, interactive activities, and learning materials for both students and parents. During the “Oh, the Places You’ll Grow” event, you will also receive a schedule of upcoming summer events to help you plan ahead.What you can expect:* Families will enjoy dinner with our staff and other incoming families, fostering relationships and a strong sense of community. Following dinner, students will transition to classrooms with our kindergarten teachers while parents remain for an informative presentation. * Students will participate in hands-on activities designed to help our teachers better understand their individual strengths and learning styles. * Parents will attend a presentation led by our Deans and teachers, where they can receive important information, ask questions, and learn what makes Wake Forest Charter Academy unique. Families will also receive materials to support learning at home in preparation for kindergarten.This event provides a meaningful opportunity to set your child up for success in kindergarten.
