More than 700 Triumph Academy students filled the gymnasium as speakers from Bullies Reality shared personal stories of bullying and provided inspirational messages for students to help combat it.
The national program visits schools spreading messages such as being kind, standing up for others, saying no to bullying, and knowing your self-worth. The assembly was filled with music, dancing, emotional stories, and ended with students taking a pledge to stop bullying.
Bullies Reality visited Triumph Academy because of a student, Jude, and a local program, Team IMPACT. Jude, a sixth-grade student with a disease called arthrogryposis (AMC), is an inspiration for all Triumph students.
