Staying connected to your school, even during the summer months, is important for families, and Quest Charter Academy offered dedicated time for camaraderie at the Family Mix and Mingle.
The school, which has outperformed the local district for 10 years, opened the playground for families, provided pizza and drinks, and handed out engaging items to students. Music played as families took some time to connect with each other.
While it was a great opportunity for families to catch up with each other, Admissions Representative Stephanie Sauve said she was intentional with the materials she offered to families. Sauve set up a table full of resources, including the school calendar and dress code so they could be ready for the start of the year.
Sauve also provided families with fun items such as beach balls, Quest cups, and Proud Quest Parent car stickers. Sauve said the beach balls are always popular with students, adding that families enjoyed the time together, providing excellent feedback, saying they feel a part of the Quest community.
“I think it’s very important to offer this time over the summer,” Sauve said. “Obviously, we all get caught up in summer with vacations and family time, but I think it’s good to keep our families connected and engaged at school as well to keep that momentum going through the summer.”
With this connection point, families are staying informed and embedded in the school community, which will help them start the year fast.
Way to go, Quest! Keep up the great work!About Quest Charter Academy
