Quest Charter Academy students learned about historical figures during Black History Month. To add a twist to their lessons, each classroom researched an influential African American figure and created a bulletin board outside their classroom. There was a school wide scavenger hunt, so students could learn about all the historical figures each class researched.
"Each classroom worked incredibly hard on their Black History Month boards," said Principal Ralph Garza. "It is always so inspiring to see students come together with one idea and bring it to life. Walking down the halls viewing all the boards, reading their research, and watching students go from class to class was a true moment of pride as a principal!"
