High School
High school at National Heritage Online Academy combines rigorous coursework with the flexibility of online learning. Students take core classes in English, math, science, and social studies, along with electives and world language, and work with credentialed teachers who provide instruction, feedback, and support throughout the year. Every student has a plan for what comes after graduation, whether that's college, career training, military service, or the workforce.
College Counseling
Preparing for What's Next
Our College Counseling program helps students and families plan for life after high school. Counselors work closely with students to explore college options, career interests, and other post-secondary pathways.
Throughout high school, students receive guidance on course planning, college research, applications, and financial aid. Families also receive support and resources to help them understand the college planning process.
By graduation, students leave with a clear plan and the confidence to take the next step toward college, career training, or another meaningful path.
Character Development
Academic Success Alone Isn't Enough
Through Moral Focus™, high school students explore virtues like respect, integrity, compassion, and self-control, and how they apply to the decisions they're facing now. Lessons live in a dedicated Advisory class and are built into core coursework, shifting from learning what a virtue means to practicing leadership, responsibility, and real-world judgment. The goal is that students leave capable, ethical, and prepared for what comes after high school.
