National Heritage Academies (NHA), one of the nation’s largest charter school management companies, honored its top performing schools, including Metro Charter Academy, during its 16th Annual Eagle Awards ceremony.
Metro Charter Academy earned an Eagle Award for Schools of Excellence, which means the school had superior performance in academic achievement and full enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year. Of the 81 NHA schools 12 qualified for the top honor.
“We are proud to be honored with this award,” said Metro Charter Academy Principal, Shelli Wildfong. “Our teachers work hard to challenge each child to reach their goals and this award shows our efforts are making a difference.”
