The newly-minted Blue Ribbon school was praised for its middle school math and reading performance. Greensboro Academy, which has outperformed the local district for 16 years, performed well above expectations in the middle school reading and math categories.
This marks the third year of the U.S. News & World Report ranking elementary and middle schools. The organization has provided go-to resources for parents and students at the high school and college levels for years.
Rankings were determined by analyzing math and reading proficiency, state assessments, and how schools performed compared to expectations. Read more about the ranking’s methodology here.
