The school partnered with its authorizer, Grand Valley State University, to bring the GVSU Pathways program for students. This four-year opportunity connects students with development activities and resources to bolster college readiness.

This exciting opportunity expands access to college for Canton Prep students and equips them with what they need for success in Allendale.
Thanks to this collaboration, students will be engaged year-round through various workshops and activities, and build a foundation of skills and knowledge to prepare them for college. The program requires students to complete financial aid and college readiness workshops, which helps students get prepared for their college experience.
The GVSU Pathways program helps students along the way with the GVSU Career Center and other experts at the school. These advisors provide support on career exploration, the admissions process, student resources, and information about campus life. Thanks to these partners, students will feel inspired about life after high school.

Students will gain valuable college readiness skills as part of the program and will finish with an official letter of acceptance to Grand Valley State University.
Once students complete the GVSU Pathways program, they’ll receive an official acceptance letter to GVSU, which will be honored when they meet all of the school’s admission requirements.
Thanks to GVSU Pathways, Canton Prep students have direct access to a college education, and they’ll be prepared to thrive once they arrive on campus.
Congratulations, Canton Prep students!
