Learning is a lifelong process that extends beyond the walls of the classroom. At Burton Glen Charter Academy, children can explore their interests, learn new skills and make new friends through a variety of extracurricular activities. More details about the programs and activities we offer are below.

Book Fair

This school-wide event is a great chance for our students to shop for new books. You'll find many titles in a wide range of interests and levels, including popular authors and series.

Field Trips

Each year we take learning outside the classroom and invite parent volunteers. A variety of age-appropriate outings are planned for our scholars.

3rd - 5th Grade

Safety Patrol

Our scholars help to keep each other safe in school. Safety patrol members help with arrival, dismissal, and special events.

National Junior Honor Society

This program was created for outstanding middle schoolers. These students are often recognized for efforts in academics, character, and service.

Summer Jobs & Volunteerism for Kids

Summer is a great time for your child to develop new skills that go beyond the classroom – no matter their age. Serving as a volunteer or beginning a part-time job are excellent ways to develop these skills.
