Welcome to National Heritage Academies in Ypsilanti

Our schools follow a rigorous, research-backed curriculum, and teachers use student data to guide instruction and give each student personalized support. In the high school grades, students can take Advanced Placement courses and earn college credit through dual enrollment before they graduate.

Through our Moral Focus™ program, character development is part of every school day. Students learn and practice virtues such as respect, gratitude, perseverance, and integrity, with lessons that connect each virtue to everyday actions so students understand the importance of making good decisions.

Students are held to high standards and learn to take ownership of their choices, actions, and academic growth. That responsibility grows with them, from shared classroom expectations in the early grades to leadership roles and community service in high school.

Families and teachers work together through progress reports each marking period, conferences throughout the year, and tools that let you check grades and message teachers directly. There are also plenty of ways to be involved in the school community.

Our school leaders, teachers, and staff support each student's academic, social, and emotional growth. From intervention services and individualized learning to resources for multilingual learners, our teams work closely with families so every child feels supported and prepared to succeed.
