Transportation
Busing is not provided at Winterville Charter Academy. Families are responsible for arranging transportation to and from school each day. If you have questions about transportation, our school team is here to help.
Drop-off and Pick-up
Help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient by following our drop-off and pick-up procedures each school day.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times
Drop-off: 7:25–7:55 a.m.
Pick-up: Starts at 3:00 p.m.
What Families Need to Know
- Enter from Bayswater Rd. entrance only.
- Students who are tardy must be signed in by an adult if not in their class by 8:00 a.m.
- If your child is a van rider, please be sure to complete a van authorization and return to our office.
- Early departures must occur prior to 2:30 p.m. for the safety of the students and staff.
- Families should plan to be in the parent pick-up line by 3:50 p.m.
- Students who have not been picked up by 3:55 p.m. and are not already assigned to a vehicle in the dismissal line will be considered a late pick-up and will incur a late fee.
- Drive slowly and watch for students and families.
- Be patient and courteous to other drivers.
- Do not use your cell phone while driving through the parking lot.
- If you need to speak with a teacher, park and visit the school office rather than stopping during the dismissal process.
