Summerfield Charter Academy was ranked ninth on the Best Charter Elementary Schools in North Carolina list, according to U.S. News & World Report in its 2024 school rankings.
The school, which has outperformed the local district for nine years, was praised for its elementary school math performance, which was rated well above expectations.
This marks the third year of the U.S. News & World Report ranking elementary and middle schools. The organization has provided go-to resources for parents and students at the high school and college levels for years.
Rankings were determined by analyzing math and reading proficiency, state assessments, and how schools performed compared to expectations. Read more about the ranking’s methodology here.
