Our Academics

Sky Ranch Academy is growing into a full K-12 school, adding a grade and new course offerings each year. Our research-backed curriculum pairs rigorous coursework with hands-on learning, so students build the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they'll need as they move through high school. Teachers use student data to guide instruction and give each student the support to take ownership of their own learning.

Our Grade Levels

Student

Kindergarten

Kindergarten is where the love of learning begins. Our caring teachers nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence through hands-on exploration and engaging lessons that build essential academic and social skills. It’s the perfect foundation for a lifetime of growth.

Student

Elementary

Elementary school is a time of growth and discovery. Students strengthen their skills in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies while learning to think critically and work collaboratively. Along the way, they build confidence, curiosity, and character that prepare them for middle school and beyond.

Middle School

Middle school is a time of personal growth and exploration. Students deepen their understanding across subjects, applying higher-level thinking and problem-solving to real-world ideas. With a strong academic and moral foundation, they’re prepared for the challenges of high school and the opportunities ahead.

High School

High school is a time for students to take on new challenges and grow both academically and personally. They build on what they learned in middle school by thinking more deeply, solving harder problems, and applying their skills to real-world situations. With a strong academic base and solid character, they are ready for the responsibility of high school and the opportunities it will bring.

Specials & Electives

In elementary school, students take specials in art, music, physical education, and technology, which build skills that support learning across every subject.

In the upper grades, students can choose electives in these same areas and others, following the interests they've developed along the way.

Advanced Learning

EXCEL-ERATE

EXCEL-ERATE gives K–8 students who are ready for more opportunities for greater academic challenge in English language arts (ELA) and math. Students may work above grade level and explore concepts in greater depth. In middle school, students may also have opportunities to earn high school credit.
