Super Hero Munch and Crunch

Quest Charter Academy hosted its first family fun night “Super Hero Munch & Crunch” to promote healthy eating habits and physical fitness for all students and their families.

Students and families were encouraged to wear their favorite super hero costume or apparel.

The event was part of a grant the school received this year called Parents for Healthy Kids, made possible through Action for Healthy Kids® (AFHK) and funding from ALDI.

The grant is designed to help expand student access to physical activity and healthy foods in school and to improve knowledge and behaviors around physical activity and healthy eating.

Quest was one of 150 schools to receive the grant this year.

“Our grant theme is ‘We are super heroes... living healthier lives,” said Principal Ralph Garza.
