Behind the Program
College Counseling at NHA
Koree Woodward, Director of High Schools at NHA, explains how our college and career counselors work one-on-one with students and families through four years of planning, applications, financial aid, and graduation requirements.
Our Staff
Meet Your College & Career Readiness Counselors
Erin Colago and Paige Christensen work with students from ninth grade through graduation, helping them set goals and build a plan for what comes next. Whether your teen is headed to a four-year college, a trade program, the military, or straight into the workforce, they'll have someone in their corner the whole way.
Academic Planning
Tools and Resources for Your Teen's Plan
From course selection to transcripts, here's what students and families need to stay on track through high school.
Scheduling
Choosing the right courses each year keeps your teen on track for graduation and strengthens their college applications. Our counselors help students build a plan and stay organized along the way. Course scheduling and registration happen school-wide twice each academic year.
Curriculum
Grand River Prep follows a rigorous, college-prep curriculum designed to prepare every graduate for what comes next. Students interested in online courses should see the school registrar, and Michigan's online course catalog lists what's available.
Order Transcripts
Official high school transcripts are ordered through Parchment. If you already have an account, log in below. If not, visit Parchment's site, search for Grand River Preparatory High School and create one. Contact the school office with any questions.

Exploring Options
Campus Visits
Seeing a campus in person helps students figure out what they want, and Grand River Prep gives juniors and seniors two ways to do it. Students can visit colleges of their choice, and college representatives come to campus to present throughout the year.
Juniors and seniors receive two excused absences each year for campus visits. To get the excused absence, complete the forms with the front office two weeks before the visit.
To attend a college presentation at Grand River Prep, sign up in the College Counseling office by the Friday before the presentation.
