Foundations Students Learn About Cyber Safety

Foundations Academy fourth through eighth-grade students heard from Mr. Mike Mercer, chief security officer from Denver FBI, about the importance of cyber safety.

“Cyber safety is such an important topic for students, especially middle school students,” said Kristen Huizingh, principal. “Mr. Mercer did a wonderful job addressing current trends, safety concerns, and best practices when online, with our students.”

Mercer spoke to students as an effort for Safe Online Surfing Interne Challenge, helping to educate local students about cyber safety.
