A flexible and cost effective dress code has been established at our school to encourage academic success while reducing distractions and competition. Implementing a simple, flexible, cost effective dress code promotes student learning and increased academic instruction time.

ColorsK-5: Navy blue or bright green
6-8: White button down oxford
Note: A bright green polo purchased only through Image Builders is encouraged
TypeK-5: Polo knit shirts.
6-8: Oxford button-down, collared shirts (rounded collar for girls).
8: Navy blazer must be worn which can be rented through the school.
Cold WeatherNavy blue cardigan is permitted.
Add’lShirts must be tucked in at all times.
Jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, and coats may not be worn during the school day.
Hair & Hygiene
ColorsHair must be of natural tones.
StyleFor boys, hairstyles must be conservative with hair being off the collar.
The personal grooming of students should be in accord with the standards set by the uniform dress code. Students should be clean and neat when at school.
Not AllowedExtreme hairstyles and colored faux hair are not permitted.
TypePants or skirts
Not AllowedCapri pants, shorts, and leggings are not permitted.
Hats & Accessories
ColorsBlack, solid navy, or solid white socks or tights must be worn at all times.
Solid black, brown, or navy belts must be worn
Solid black dress or athletic shoes must be worn.
6-8: Solid black, navy, or bright green and navy tie must be worn. (bright green and blue tie may be ordered through Image Builders ((855) 654-6243).
Add’lA reasonable number of modest earrings that are shorter than 1 inch longs are permitted.
Not AllowedHats and head scarves may not be worn in the building.
Belts are not allowed to be decorative.
Body piercing ornaments and visible temporary tattoos are not permitted.
Boys may not wear piercings.
Colored undergarments may not be visible under or sticking out of clothing.
Add’lClothing must fit the individual in a modest fashion i.e. No tight fitting pants, shirts, low cut shirts, etc.
Not AllowedHeadbands and belts that glow, glitter, or light up; and scarves, doo-rags, and hats are not permitted.
Clothing may not be ripped or torn. Bare midriffs are not permitted.
Tattoos are not permitted.
Wearing, carrying, and displaying gang paraphernalia, names, signs, or symbols of gang membership are prohibited.
Purses and bags must be kept in lockers.
