Dress Code

Below is our approved dress code for the 2023-24 school year. The dress code at Detroit Premier Academy is flexible, affordable, and designed to encourage student success. With less distractions and competition, our scholars can focus better in school.

Uniforms may be ordered through the Uniform Store. If you need help paying for uniforms, please call the front office to discuss options.

Accessories

Shoes must be solid-colored black dress shoes or any color athletic shoes. Boots must be ankle high or fit underneath the pants to be worn throughout the day.

Black, solid navy blue, or solid white socks or tights.

Solid black, navy blue, or brown belts are permitted.

P.E. Uniforms

P.E. Uniform

P.E. Uniforms

All students must wear the Detroit Premier gym uniform on P.E. days. The gym uniform is available for purchase in the school’s main office. The uniform consists of Detroit Premier logo t-shirt, sweatpants, and sweatshirt. The gym uniform can be worn the entire day on a scheduled P.E. day.

Detroit Premier Academy participates in Spirit Day every Friday. Students are permitted to wear DPA spirit shirt and jeans and gym shoes. Jeans must be blue or black only.

Jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, and coats may not be worn during the school day.
