Spanish

English-speaking scholars are taught basic Spanish in this program. This includes a variety of language activities for verbal and written practice.

Robotics

Problem-solving minds come together in this league. Our student engineers are challenged to build robots to complete tasks.

Coding

Coding isn't just for college students anymore. With the importance of STEM careers on the rise, we are making sure our students are prepared and ready to code.

Girls on the Run

We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum. The program runs for 10 weeks in the spring.

Choir

Our choir program includes lessons in choral singing, musical terms, and vocal skills.

S.T.E.M.

S.T.E.M. includes: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. We use this model to guide our scholars in authentic learning activities.

Science Olympiad

Middle school scientists set goals and compete in science projects. We encourage commitment, group learning and active participation in this program.

Drama Club

Members of this club get an intro to theater arts and learn about acting, play production and stage work.

Book Club

Readers gather to share thoughts and explore ideas through "book talk." The perfect club for scholars who enjoy a shared love for reading.

National Junior Honor Society

This program was created for outstanding middle schoolers. These students are often recognized for efforts in academics, character, and service.

Music and Band

We offer music classes for our scholars to express themselves through music and teamwork. 5th-8th grade students in band also receive lessons in symphonic, jazz, and drumming.

Young Men of Vision Mentor Detroit Premier Students

Young Men of Vision mentor and teach middle school students in Detroit to develop residual skills in various areas that build academic strength, self-confidence and awareness, and social intelligence.
The group has taught the young men of Detroit Premier about the seven steps of the decision-making process, teamwork, and positive thinking.
