Taylor Exemplar Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in Michigan serving students in grades Y5-8. We shape instruction to build on the strengths and abilities of each student and integrate Moral Focus™ lessons into every school day. As a result, our students are well-prepared from young 5s through eighth grade. A Stanford University study found National Heritage Academies partner-school students gained the equivalent of 3.5 months of additional learning each year compared to peers.

Last Recess: TEA Eagles Class of 2026 – Seniors Return to the Nest Join us for a heartwarming tradition as we welcome back our graduating seniors for their Last Recess at the nest! This special event gives the Class of 2026 a chance to relive cherished childhood memories, reconnect with their roots, and celebrate how far they’ve come. From 1:00–2:00 p.m. on the playground, seniors will enjoy a fun and nostalgic hour of laughter, games, and time spent where their journey first began. Younger students and staff will be there to cheer them on, making this a full-circle moment for our TEA Eagles. Come celebrate, reminisce, and send off our seniors with pride as they take their next big step!
