Class of 2025: Rigorous Studies Put Wellspring Prep Grad on Smooth Path to Dentistry

This story is one in a series highlighting outstanding seniors from each National Heritage Academies high school and celebrating their graduations in 2025. Congrats to all of our 2025 graduates!

Kiera Warrens knows she is ready for college thanks to a rigorous college-prep education and a strong Moral Focus program at Wellspring Preparatory High School.

With prep courses and counseling at her disposal, she is now ready for that next step at the college level. The preparedness skills and problem-solving aptitude she gained are the reasons she and her brother came to the Wellspring Prep, which outperforms the district.

As she heads to Western Michigan University to study pre-dentistry, she is confident that she is equipped to handle whatever challenges she faces, be it academically or otherwise.

“Wellspring prepared me for life after high school,” she said. “Those skills I feel are super useful no matter what I do next. I’m really excited to start my college journey.”

In her four years at Wellspring, Warrens was active in the yearbook club, the Real Food Talks, National Honor Society, and also was on the varsity volleyball team. The friends she made and the sense of community she enjoyed made all the late nights spent studying that much more memorable.

She knows that it was time well spent, having honed her skills in time management, critical thinking, and how to work with others.

“Even though they were stressful, I always found ways to still laugh and make memories out of every little thing,” she said. “Getting to learn alongside such awesome people made even the toughest classes feel manageable and fun.”

Congratulations, Kiera, and good luck in the next part of your educational journey!
