Busing is not provided at Vista Charter Academy. Families are responsible for arranging transportation to and from school each day. If you have questions about transportation, our school team is here to help.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient by following our drop-off and pick-up procedures each school day.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times

Drop-off: 7:30–8:00 a.m.
Pick-up: All students should be picked up no later than 3:45 p.m.

What Families Need to Know

  • Eastern Ave. SE:
    • Drop off 7:30–7:50 a.m. (with or without breakfast)
    • Back lot pick-up for 3rd-8th graders: 3:05–3:40 p.m.
  • 32nd St. SE:
    • Drop-off all grades eating breakfast 7:30–7:50 a.m.
    • Drop-off Y5-2nd graders (with or without breakfast) 7:30 –7:50 a.m.
    • Front lot pick-up for Y5-2nd graders and any older siblings 3:05–3:45 p.m.
  • School dismisses at 3:05 p.m. and children should be picked up immediately.
  • Drive slowly and watch for students and families.
  • Be patient and courteous to other drivers.
  • Do not use your cell phone while driving through the parking lot.
  • If you need to speak with a teacher, park and visit the school office rather than stopping during the dismissal process.
