A flexible and cost effective dress code has been established at our school to encourage academic success while reducing distractions and competition. Implementing a simple, flexible, cost effective dress code promotes student learning and increased academic instruction time.

Tank tops, spaghetti straps, half-shirts, sleeveless shirts, or low cut shirts are not permitted.
Midriffs and backs must be covered.
Pants that are baggy, sagging, or hanging below the hips are not permitted.
Belts are highly recommended.
Shorts, skirts, skorts, and dresses must be longer than the fingertips when the student’s arms hang straight at the student’s sides.
Coats, jackets, and hats may not be worn inside the building.
Chains are not permitted.
For safety reasons, large hoop or dangling earrings are not permitted.
Spandex clothing, distracting clothing or t-shirts, and pajamas are not permitted.
Clothing must fit appropriately.
Ripped or torn clothing is not permitted.
Wearing, carrying, and displaying gang paraphernalia, names, signs, or symbols of gang membership is prohibited.
The school administration makes the final decision in regard to violations of the dress code.
