NHA Communications Team

Vanguard Charter Academy was ranked seventh on the Best Charter Elementary Schools in Michigan list, according to U.S. News & World Report in its 2025 school rankings.

The school, which has outperformed the local district for 14 years, was praised for its elementary school math and reading performance. Vanguard Charter Academy performed well above expectations in the elementary school reading and math categories.

This marks the fourth year of the U.S. News & World Report ranking elementary and middle schools. The organization has provided go-to resources for parents and students at the high school and college levels for years.

Rankings were determined by analyzing math and reading proficiency, state assessments and how schools performed compared to expectations. Read more about the ranking’s methodology on the U.S. News website.
