Timberland Charter Academy offers busing to families who live within a defined area around the school.

Busing

Bus transportation is available through a third-party vendor, Dean Transportation. Please call them at 231-720-3190 for complete info on busing including the designated boundaries.

To submit a bus application, log in to your Parent Portal account and complete the bus application located in the forms section of the Parent Portal.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Help keep arrival and dismissal safe and efficient by following our drop-off and pick-up procedures each school day.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times

Drop-Off
Grades 5-8: 7:15–7:30 a.m.
Students are late after 7:31 a.m.
Grades Y5-4: 8:30–8:45 a.m.
Students are late after 8:46 a.m.

Pick-Up
Grades 5-8: 2:15–2:30 p.m.
Students are late after 2:45 p.m.
Grades Y5-4: 3:35–3:45 p.m.
Students are late after 4:00 p.m.

What Families Need to Know

  • Enter from McLaughlin Rd. entrance only.
  • Drive slowly and watch for students and families.
  • Be patient and courteous to other drivers.
  • Do not use your cell phone while driving through the parking lot.
  • If you need to speak with a teacher, park and visit the school office rather than stopping during the dismissal process.
