Technology

At Timberland, we embrace technology in classrooms and our computer lab. Students may also use tablets during workshops to practice skills they are learning.

Building Healthy Communities

Timberland Charter Academy participates in the Building Healthy Communities elementary school program, which helps our students establish the knowledge and behaviors needed for a healthy lifestyle.

The Building Healthy Communities Program is administered by the Center for School Health at Wayne State University in partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, the United Dairy Industry of Michigan and the Michigan Fitness Foundation.
